About Me

I am Tessa Spanneberg and I am passionate about prevention strategies. For years (nearly 20) I worked in the corporate environment where I experienced first-hand work-life-family imbalance which led to burnout and bouts of anxiety which I truly did not understand. After resigning and taking some time off, I made a career change, I now work in the recovery space as a counsellor and coach. I work with clients who have experienced significant (and often traumatic) effects of mental health conditions such as burnout, depression, anxiety and so much more.

Drawing from these and my personal experiences I support people who have realized something is off in their lives and they don’t quite feel themselves. It really lights me up to help and support them before they spiral further into overwhelm, anxiety, burnout, or depression.

We will work together to give you what you need to thrive. And that can be talk therapy, strategies, tools, and or techniques. I show you how to use and apply these strategies. Applying them doesn’t have to be difficult either so that when you leave our sessions you feel more confident in your ability to handle things.

My purpose is to give you as much help as I can so that you don’t spiral into clinical anxiety, depression, or burnout.

When we work together, I will ask you questions and based on your responses, provide you with a personalised support or a treatment plan. That plan will be focussed on helping you achieve the goal you have for our time together. This may include mindfulness activities and strengths-based work.
